Scottish Weekend – June 13th-14th 2009

Big crowds and strong Driver’s List expected for the trek North of The Border, for the annual Scottish Weekender, which includes the chase for the title of Scottish Champion; currently held, and won two years running, by Brisca F1 World Champion, Andy Smith.

KNOCKHILL

Raced on the cordened off ‘tri-oval’, Knockhill is totally unique to the BriSCA F1 calendar, with steep up and down gradients, and grass & sandtrap run-off areas instead of a tradition style ‘wall’. The action is thick and fast, with the cars running faster speeds than at any other track.

Saturday June 13th – Start time: 6:00pm

The annual Miller’s Oil Knockhill Challenge Trophy.

World Qualifying Round #12
National Series Round #14

COWDENBEATH

After the uniqueness of Knockhill having no wall, the cars move to Cowdenbeath, the circuit so famous for it’s ‘wall’ it’s been nicknamed ‘Racewall’. Who will be tasting the concrete this year?

Sunday June 14th – Start time: 1:00pm

The annual Scottish Championship.

World Qualifying Round #13
National Series Round #15
