A new month can only mean one thing…. The BriSCA F1 circus returns Back to Coventry.

4th July is turning into an important event in the BriSCA F1 calender here at Brandon when the first Semi Final grid qualifiers will have one last opportunity to test out the fast shale oval for their do or die attempt to proceed to the World Final at Kings Lynn in September.
World Champion Andrew Smith is on pole and already confessing to pre race pressure, Matt Newson whose luck has changed in recent weeks sits alongside him . The ambitious Paul Hines and Coventry track specialist Mark Gilbank are on row two. In fact Andrew says every driver on the Coventry Semi Final grid is capable of winning the race.
Frankie Wainman Junior who has chosen Birmingham for his Semi Final will be able to take it easier on Saturday – will a more relaxed attitude give the Coventry Track Champion an advantage over his rivals for a final win this week.
Mouth watering stuff and the anticipation of what is to come on the 4th July is almost unbearable – roll on Saturday. 66 Cars and a Semi Final to relish.
