Venray has released full details about the upcoming Gold Cup meeting.

Admission

Adults
Saturday – € 20.00
Sunday – € 20.00
Weekend Pass – € 35.00

Children (10-14 years)
Saturday – € 10.00
Sunday – € 15.00
Weekend Pass – € 20.00

Children 9 years and under – Free

Covered Grandstand Seating
€ 3.00 per day per person or
€ 5.00 for the weekend per person.

Timetable

Saturday
Practise from 9:30am to 11:30am
Competition Start: 12:00pm (including the F2 Gold Cup)
End no later than 7:00pm

Sunday
Practise from 10:00am to 11:00am (this is for the F1 stockcar’s only)
Time Trials for overseas racers 11:00am to 12:00pm
Competition Start: 12:00pm (including the F1 Gold Cup)
End no later than 7:00pm

Camping

Camping will be available from Friday August 13th. The entrance to the camp site is opposite the old circuit.

Entrance for camping will only be permitted during the following times:
Friday, August 13th from 3:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturday, August 14 from 8:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday, August 15 from 8:00am to 12:00pm

The costs are € 5.00 per person, children under 10 years free.
We will provide adequate toilets and showers. They are open on Saturday from 6:00pm to 8:30pm and Sunday from 8:00am to 10:30am.

On Site Rules

Please focus on the following house rules:
- Follow the instructions of the parking attendants.
- Wrist bands must be worn at all times at both the camp site and the circuit. Access will be denied without a worn wrist band.
- No open fires.
- Paddock & Camping areas must observe silence after 7:00pm (this includes engines, motorcycles, music, etc.).

Coventry pre-meeting problems for Murray Harrison 97 meant a starter motor needed to be replaced with the gearbox having to come out for access, and on doing so, swung round and snapped the throttle cable meaning it was all hands on deck to get the car ready for action.
