UK Stock Cars Tribute to Dan Wheldon
On Sunday October 16th 2011 British Indy Car driver Dan Wheldon sadly lost his life while racing his open wheel Indy car at Las Vegas. Go Daddy.com have opened a memorial site.
Over the weekend October 22nd & 23rd in tribute to Dan every Formula One Stock Car and V8 Hot-Stox that competed at Birmingham Wheels Race Park on Saturday 22nd October and every Formula One Stock Car that competed at Northampton (Brafield) on Sunday 23rd October displayed the Lion heart decal.
F1 Stockcars.com and everyone involved with the sports of BriSCA Formula One Stock Car racing and V8 Hot-Stox racing passes on there condolences to the Wheldon family.
The decals were made possible thanks to kindness goodwill and hard work of Darren Summers of Stevenage Signs, Colin Casserley of Stevenage Insurance Services, Ailsa Haigh and Stephen Cording of F1 Stockcars.com.
Please note the Lion Heart tribute decal was only available to Formula One and V8 Hot-Stox drivers competing over the weekend of 22nd & 23rd October 2011 and are not available for general sale.
