The 2012 Ladies Race will be held at Coventry on Saturday 6th October 2012. The plan is to be first out on track, pre-meeting, at 5.45pm sharp – hopefully to avoid cars being too wrecked to take part and potential participants going home disappointed.

We have at least a couple of willing participants already and I am sure Sharon Harris will be back to defend her title.

In order to be eligible to take part you must be 18 years old or above, not have previously held a Competition Licence (even in a junior formula such as minis etc!) and raise a minimum of £40 sponsorship.

Half of the monies raised will go to the Driver’s Trust Fund – a good way of giving back a little to those that entertain you throughout the season, in their hour of need. The Driver’s Trust Fund helps support a driver financially when unable to work due to a racing incident. The second charity will be announced shortly.

I know times are hard for everybody but please dig deep with sponsorship, every amount helps no matter how big or small – its all for a good cause!
