They looked cracking in their new colours as they took to the tack in glorious sunshine, to quite a big crowd.

The team was 00GB Murray Harrison, 01GB Frankie Wainman (in the tank, which Team GB now own), 02GB Danny Wainman (in the FWJ built car), 03GB Ryan Harrison (in his own car) and 04GB Mark Taylor. Murray sat this one out in the centre, while the rest took to the grid.

Can’t remember everything that happened, but they won. Seemed to work quite well together, looked good and ended up coming home 1st and 2nd.

If it means anything, who knows, Team racing really is about the luck on the night. All the Team GB cars went in the normal SuperStock races, where they all seemed to fair well.

Ryan and Murray seemed to attract the attention of 115A, with some quite big hits being dealt between them all in Heat 2 with each Harrison putting 115A up the wall on separate occasions. Ryan finally settled the score in Heat 3, with a massive hit, which saw 115A going backwards along the top of the wall at quite some speed, before falling off and rolling to finish his night.

He really is making a name for himself over here and I hope people are sitting up and noticing him, he deserves it. Anyways, roll on the Team Champs next week, not long now……
