All roads lead to Skegness on the weekend of July 11th (4pm Shoot Out – 5pm Meeting) and July 12th (12 noon) for the 26th anniversary of the fantastic UK Championship Speedweekend.

The only time the Brisca F1, 2L Saloons and Brisca F2’s come together for a full weekends racing. With drivers already booked in from all parts of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Europe it promises to be another monster weekend.

We start the entertainment with a Champions Shoot Out at 4pm one hour before the meeting starts on the Saturday. Featuring; from the F1′s European Champion Dan Johnson, the F2’s defending UK Open Champion, British and National Points Champion Chris Bradbury and from 2L Saloon Saloons World Champion Shane Brown. Each driver will do 5 laps in own car, then 5 laps in the other two cars. And the fastest combined lap from each session added together to produce the Champion.

The turnstiles open at 2.30pm Saturday 11th July; with prices held at the same as last year, Adults Sat £14, Sun £16 and two meeting saver is £28, Juniors each day £6, and kids under 12years are Free. Camping is free for drivers but all Tents, Caravans and motor homes have to go into the back field with the usual charge of £15 for the unit.

Coventry pre-meeting problems for Murray Harrison 97 meant a starter motor needed to be replaced with the gearbox having to come out for access, and on doing so, swung round and snapped the throttle cable meaning it was all hands on deck to get the car ready for action.
