Bouwe Arjen Hiddinga is 34 years old and has been racing since 2000. He has raced several cars, including ex Wainman and Neachell machines. His current car is the former Joe Booth car and with it he reached super star for the first time at the end of 2013.

Bouwe is a regular visitor to the UK, and loves racing at Belle Vue, Coventry, and King’s Lynn. He says that if he didn’t have family in The Netherlands then he would want to live in the UK so he could race here every weekend. His favourite Dutch tracks are Speedway Emmen and Blauwhuis.

His best achievements so far are second place in the World Of Shale at Emmen, and finishing second in the Emmen track championship.

Bouwe says his best meeting was at the Sunday of the Coventry 60 year celebration weekend last year, when he was in fifth place in the Final with 5 laps to go. After some yellow flags “I put the pedal to the metal… and broke the driveshaft!”
