Michael Scriven comes from a family of stock car car drivers. Grandfather Ray started in the 1960s and raced for nearly 40 years. Father Rob first took the track in 1978 and still races F1 occasionally today, and is currently a star driver in the V8 Hot Stox. After racing Mini-Stox alongside brother Neil, Michael moved up to F1 in 2001.

Michael made a steady start, and took his first win in the Consolation on the Sunday of the 2003 European Championship.

Since then he has gone from strength to strength, and has established himself as a capable driver with some potent machinery at his disposal.

Michael has won four finals to date, as well as qualifying for the 2012 National Series Shoot Out.

In 2013 he won the Trust Fund Trophy; his first title.
