Formula One Stock Cars plan to be out in force at Autosport International Show.

Announces the BriSCA Management Board press release.

The BriSCA Formula One Management Board* is pleased to announce that BriSCA Formula One Stock Car Racing will be making its biggest-ever appearance at AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL 2010 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre:

In the Live Action Area the BriSCA Formula Ones will be taking part in all performances across all four days of the show (Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 January 2010). On Saturday 16 (at 6pm) and Sunday 17 January (at 4.45pm) 2010 the final Live Action shows on each day will feature full race meetings alongside the other oval classes.

For the first time ever visitors on the Press and Trade days (Thursday 14 and Friday 15 January 2010) will be able to inspect a brand new BriSCA Formula One Stock Car in Hall 4, the area featuring Kart racing, and leading directly to the Live Action Arena. Fans will also be able to obtain fixture details from this point.

At 1315 (time subject to confirmation) on Thursday 14 January, prior to the opening performance in the Live Action Arena, the BriSCA Formula One Fixtures List for the 2010 Season will be officially launched alongside the unveiling of the new Stock Car. BriSCA F1 Drivers and Officers will be available to answer any questions.

On the Saturday and Sunday the BriSCA Formula One Stock Car Racing display in the Oval Racing Experience (Hall 10) where one of the sport’s latest transporters will form the backdrop to a display of brand new and top-line racecars including BriSCA Formula Ones accompanied by a V8 Hot Stox and National Ministox.

Exclusive to the display will be a film featuring spectacular and entertaining footage from the major forthcoming BBC TV Series which features the trials and tribulations of the Smith and Wainman raceteams (and others) as they battle through the 2009 season, a season rated by many racefans as one of the best in the sport’s history.

In another first and in particular for the dedicated and fashion conscious racefan there will be on sale a range of high quality, exclusive BriSCA Formula One clothing suitable for any family member. This is expected to prove highly collectable.

In addition to the Fixtures List there will also be a special compact souvenir BriSCA Formula One Yearbook which will set the scene for the season ahead as well as giving details of the BriSCA Formula Ones taking part in the Live Action Shows. The yearbook will – as far as we are aware – be the first oval racing and certainly BriSCA Formula One publication to include a limited edition cover CD packed with stox goodies.

Please note: Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information set out above but late changes – for which the BriSCA F1 Management Board* cannot be held responsible – may become necessary as a result of circumstances outside their control. F1 Stockcars.com are not responsible to the accuracy of any of the above information that has been forwarded to them.

* The BriSCA Formula One Management Board is the governing body for Formula One Stock Car racing. It’s membership is made up of three representatives from the sports Promoters (BriSCA) and the British Stock Cars Drivers Association (BSCDA).
