Mick Sworder out of Shoot Out Finale

Mick Sworder has announced that he will not be taking part in tomorrow’s National Points Shoot Out Finale at Sheffield due to engine problems.

It is with huge disappointment that Mick would like to inform you that he is unable to race in the final Shootout round due to major engine problems. These are the same issues Mick had at Coventry which stopped him from racing last Saturday. Mick and the team tried to overcome the problem and went testing at Northampton this morning. However the engine is not repairable in time for Sheffield. Mick would like to thank everyone for there continued support this year you the fans, his sponsors and his amazing crew! We may have to bow out now but we will be back next year!

Sworder is currently fifth in the points, and is 64 points behind series leader Ryan Harrison. With double points on offer, Sworder had a realistic chance of a top three finish or perhaps even outright victory.
