Frankie Wainman jnr 515 celebrates 25 years of BriSCA F1 Stock Car racing

On October 10th 1987 sixteen year old Frankie Wainman Jnr 515 took to the track in a self built F1 stock car at Long Eaton. Just a week later he took his first win at Crewe, winning his first Final at Northampton less than a month later.

Frankie started the 1988 season with star grade status and has never looked back, going on to achieve innumerable Championships including winning the prestigious World Championship twice. A prolific builder, repairer and maintainer of cars, Frankie is always on hand to offer help as well as being one of the most approachable, fan friendly drivers in the sport.

In 2010 Frankie became only the second driver in the sport to notch up a mammoth 250 Final wins but his success is not just confined to the UK, having won the last Baarlo Long Track, the Venray Gold Cup in 2006 and a three times New Zealand World 240s Champion.

Frankie’s profile has been updated with many photos from his illustrious career HERE.

F1Stockcars.com extends our congratulations to Frankie and wishes him every continued success with his unprecedented involvement in the sport.
