Gears and Tears is a BBC One series featuring F1 Stock Car Racing and the feuding between the legendary Smith and the Wainman teams. Episode 4 on Monday 22 August perfectly captured the magic that is the World Championship finale.

On Saturday 4 September at MCM Stadium Coventry, the story continues as the sport’s two top drivers sit side by side at the front of the 2010 World Final Grid, each determined to lift high the solid silver World Cup. On this occasion the winning means more to the drivers than the prize money.
