Coventry BriSCA F1 World Final Build-Up #3

Latest Coventry press release:

Another week passes by and plenty more vital information for you regarding this year’s BriSCA FI World Championship weekend.

Camping

We appreciate everyone’s patience regarding this matter as we have been working hard to try and arrange camping with local farmers however due to the regular car boot sale taking place on Sunday, farmers are not able to offer overnight camping facilities in the adjacent fields but have agreed to allow parking on Saturday night for which they will levy a charge which we understand is to be £3. per car. This is out of our control and will be entirely at the farmers’ discretion.

In light of the huge interest in people wishing to camp we are offering a section of the car park area (on the left hand side as you enter the stadium) which is currently not used for parking as it is soft ground, however during the next few weeks a team will be on hand performing ground works on this area to make it suitable for people wishing to pitch tents. The hard standing car park next to this tent area will be available for people wishing to park motor homes, however we would like to ask everyone to park and pitch in a considerate manner to your fellow neighbours and make use of every bit of ground possible as this is going to be a popular option for those wanting to make a weekend of it.

This area will be on a first come first served basis and judging by the amount of interest we have had already, these pitches will be snapped up quickly so we would highly recommend that you come along on the Friday to make a real weekend of it and soak up the World Final atmosphere.

The car park will be open to happy campers from 3:00pm from Friday and the most important part…..it’s all absolutely FREE.

The stadium will be open on Saturday morning 8:00am and 11:00am for people wishing to freshen up and showers will be available (£1 to cover costs) A super value £5 breakfast will also be served during this time and consists of

2 x Bacon
2 x Sausage
Beans or Tomatoes
Chips
Scrambled or Fried Egg
Slice of bread and butter
Tea or Coffee

Alternatively why not pop along to the stadium on the 21st August and watch the V8’s and Street Bangers in action that night – 7:00pm start and buy your ticket at the same time.

Those organised people will also have priority entry to the stadium on World Final day as the gates will open to ticket holders at 2:30pm whereas the turnstiles will not open before 3:00pm to those who are buying on the day – what more reason do you need to get them booked!
