British Championship 2008

Stu Smith jnr

Stu Smith jnr

On Saturday 4th October Stu Smith jnr (390) completed a stunning drive to take the British Championship at Coventry stadium. Mark Gilbank (21) took to the front in the early stages only to be succeeded by Stu Smith jnr and then a lap later by Frankie Wainman jnr (515). Stu Smith then made quite a comeback to hit Mark Gilbank into Andy Smith (391) turning him sideways. With only Frankie Wainman jnr out in front, Stu Smith jnr reeled him in and in the later stages sent him out wide into the mud.
