BriSCA F1 2010 World Championship Grid

Here is how the grid will line up for the World Final (to be run at Coventry on September 4th 2010). Frankie Wainman Jnr won the coin toss after the Buxton Semi-Final, and has elected to take the pole position for the World Final.

This year sees the unheard of situation of the first two rows of the grid being the exact same as last years World Final grid, setting things up nicely for a rematch between the sports two biggest rivals, Frankie Wainman Jnr and Andy Smith.

Last year, Andy Smith drove around the outside of pole sitter Frankie Wainman Jnr, to race off and take the title unhindered. With the 2010 World Final due to take place at around the same time that the Gears And Tears BBC documentary will be reaching it’s climax, the rivalry between drivers and their fans will be at a frenzy, setting up the prospect for a thrilling race.
