Andy Smith takes 2010 BriSCA F1 National Points Shootout

Andy Smith (#1/391) has taken the Silver roof, to add to his Gold he won in September. This is the third time Andy has won the National Championship having also taken the crown in 1995 & 2006.
Andy took the 2010 National Points Shootout title relatively uncontested, with his closest rival going into the Championship Finale Frankie Wainman Jnr (#515), having a night of bad luck, with tracks spins in both his Heat and the meeting Final. Further humiliation came FWJ’s way when Andy planted him in the fence on the last bend of the Grand National. Frankie ultimately finished the night 4th overall in the Championship standings.
Craig Finnikin (#55) capitalized on a 1st place finish in the Grand National to take 2nd in the Shootout Championship, and the 3rd place spot went to Paul Hines (#259).
Full details and race report will appear on F1stockcars.com later in the week.
