All remaining Belle Vue fixtures transferred to Coventry

The three remaining 2010 Belle Vue fixtures have, due to an unforseen legal technicality, needed to be transferred to Coventry Stadium.

Steve Rees, promoter for Startrax which runs the Belle Vue events would like it to be known that the future of Stock Car racing at Belle Vue is safe and secure, and the 2011 fixture list for Belle Vue will go ahead as planned. Full details can be found on the Startrax website.

The changes to the BriSCA F1 2010 Fixture list are as follows:

COVENTRY – SATURDAY 16TH OCTOBER at 6:00pm [Transferred from Belle Vue Sunday 17th Oct]
BriSCA Formula One Stock Car Racing (2010 BriSCA SUPREME + 2011 World Qualifier + H.E.M.T National Series Shoot Out)

COVENTRY – SATURDAY 13th NOVEMBER at 6:00pm [Transferred from Belle Vue Sunday 7th Nov]
BriSCA F1 Stock Car Racing (Big money sponsored 2010 World of Shale Championship)

COVENTRY – MONDAY 27th DECEMBER at 1:00pm [Transferred from Belle Vue same day]
BriSCA F1 Stock Cars – V8 Stock Cars – Startrax Bangers + Much more!

Coventry pre-meeting problems for Murray Harrison 97 meant a starter motor needed to be replaced with the gearbox having to come out for access, and on doing so, swung round and snapped the throttle cable meaning it was all hands on deck to get the car ready for action.
