2009 National Series Shootout (Silver Roof Title)

25 meetings from the 2009 fixture list were designated as National Series rounds. All races at these meetings carried NS points. In a change to the format, after the 25 meetings the top ten driver’s scores were zeroed (with one point being added for each NS round attended). These ten drivers then competed in ten ‘shoot out’ rounds culminating in the National Series finale at Belle Vue on November 1st. The top point winner over the shoot out rounds was Stuart Smith Jnr, who earned the right to wear the Silver Roof in 2010.
