In front of a full house, the first race up on BriSCA F1 stock car World Final night was the Consolation Semi Final.

WORLD FINAL:

2nd – Dan Johnson
3rd – Andy Smith

Meeting Final:
1st – Tom Harris
2nd – Chris Cowley
3rd – Danny Wainman

Over thirty BriSCA F1 stockcars put in an appearance for the first shootout round of the season including all twelve National Points combatants.

With a plethora of major events on tarmac tracks over the last few weeks and the alternative attraction of racing on the new Venray speedway in the Netherlands it was no great surprise when just 22 Formula one stockcars arrived at sunny Skegness.

Skegness was bathed in sub tropical sunshine on Saturday. The pits were also full with masses of cars all ready to do battle in what is often the best all contact weekend of the season.

The second tarmac meeting of a warm and dry weekend saw a lower than expected turnout of 28 cars at Northampton International Raceway to contest the annual Pat Driscoll Memorial Trophy.
