Bank Holiday Monday is synonymous with Belle Vue, and in front of a large crowd, the Manchester track again showed why there is literally nothing better on a Bank Holiday than F1 stock car racing.

As the curtains closed for possibly the final time on the third scunthorpe venue; the usual entertaining meeting took place, drawing forty one cars to the small shaleway for the first 2011 WCQR and Shoot out round number two.

Easter Monday saw James Morris take a career first Final win, in what emerged as an absolutely epic stock car race. On a cold but dry night, the track was in superb condition, and with enough cars present for decent grids in all five races, this was a prime example of why Belle Vue is such a great venue.
