The last KL meeting before June’s WCQR attracted an impressive thirty-seven cars and culminated in the best race so far of the 2010 season, an eighteen car Grand National. Half of the top twenty current grading/national points scorers had made the journey, including the soon to be red tops Neil Scriven (11) and Tony Smith (91).

Meeting number two of the 2010 BriSCA F1 season was staged at the Norfolk Arena, Kings Lynn on a dry sunny and mild evening. Racefans entering the arena were able to view first hand yet more improvements to spectator facilities.

An explosive start to the meeting when James Morris (463) impacted the home straight fence after a couple of laps of Heat 1, before slewing across the track and being hit by Mark Gilbank (21), who then collided with Scott Davids (462) before the pair of them came to a dead stop in the turn one fence.

Coventry pre-meeting problems for Murray Harrison 97 meant a starter motor needed to be replaced with the gearbox having to come out for access, and on doing so, swung round and snapped the throttle cable meaning it was all hands on deck to get the car ready for action.
