The Uk open championship took place at a sunny Skegness Stadium and a quality field featured the best of Brisca and a select band of top tar stars from the Netherlands.

It was a tough decision to leave the Umbrella in the car on arrival at Skegness as dark clouds hovered, but the risk was worth taking and sure enough was rewarded with an action packed afternoon’s entertainment.

After enduring the almost winter like conditions of Saturday on the windswept Skegness terraces it was a pleasure to arrive at a stadium bathed in sunshine.

Skegness Stadium hosts another of their famous Speedweekend’s. Saturday sees them run their World Championship Qualification Round, with their annual UK Open Championship being run on the Sunday.
