The Dutch island of Texel held a meeting on 31st July which was attended by many of the F1 stock car drivers based on Texel.

BriSCA F1 stock car Semi finals can sometimes be processional affairs but this was not to be the case at Skegness with the on track action taking place at both ends.

Championship Day of the annual European weekend at Northampton International Raceway dawned with mixed weather on Sunday July 17th, an excellent field of F1s in attendance although a few were out of the weekend with damage sustained in the qualifiers on Saturday.

Just over thirty cars attended Birmingham with several being in the chase for the final National Points shootout positions which were to be decided that night.

Northampton’s European weekend Saturday night meeting kicked off under dry and sunny conditions which didn’t look likely judging by the amount of heavy rain falling locally pre-meeting.

On the 10th july St Maarten held it’s last F1 stockcar meeting before the prestigious Dutch Open championship held on August 14th.

Skegness was bathed in sub tropical sunshine on Saturday. The pits were also full with masses of cars all ready to do battle in what is often the best all contact weekend of the season.

An impressive turnout saw just under sixty BriSCA F1 stockcars travelled to Coventry, for a full meeting format including the BSCDA Trust Fund race open to star and superstar drivers.

It was a hot and sticky day in Manchester for Belle Vue’s staging of the final World Qualifying Round, and in scorching heat Stu Smith gave a determined drive to take the final.
