Lelystad held it’s opening meeting of the 2013 season with Wesley Schaap (77) winning the final from Danny Smidt (148) and Ron Kroonder (217).

The 2013 season got underway on a cold afternoon at Belle Vue, and although there wasn’t a massive turnout of cars, the ones that did turn up served up some good racing.

The final round of the National Points Championship Shoot Out was staged at Belle Vue on Sunday 11th November, and Tom Harris added the silver to an already multi-coloured aerofoil.

The start to the last Coventry of 2012 saw Mark Poole 276 make his way to victory in the Whites and Yellows Championship with Chris Clare 394 and Chris Bonner 105.

After the previous few meetings being spoiled by rain, the October Belle Vue session was run on a clear Autumn afternoon, with Dylan Williams-Maynard taking a career-first shale final win.

The meeting at Belle Vue on Sunday 30th September was a historic occasion for the sport, as it was to commemorate Frankie Wainman Junior’s Silver Jubilee of F1 Stock Car Racing. This was actually the second part of the FWJ25 weekend; the first part being an Open Day at FWJ Racing the day before.
