The second scheduled race at Kings Lynn for 2013 but the first race proper after the inclement weather cancelled the March meeting took place on 27th April and had a Final which many will remember for a long time.

After the Saturday night tar meeting at Birmingham it was off to Hednesford for WCQR number 8 on the Sunday for the second Incarace meeting of the weekend at the fast banked Cannock track.

Birmingham Wheels Raceway opened its BriSCA F1 season with a World Championship Qualifying Round which saw a field of just under 40 cars converge on a bright, sunny and dry evening which provided perfect conditions for racing.

The newly named Pr1mo Energy International Raceway opened its doors to commence the 58th season of big league BriSCA F1 stock car action held at the popular Midlands venue on a chilly evening that was also affected by April showers.

In contrast to the usual British weather so far this year, Coventry’s 2013 season opener was bathed in glorious sunshine.

After the Friday Skegness meeting and Stoke on Saturday it was back to the Bank Holiday Monday Startrax meeting at Kikmanshulme Lane Belle Vue.

The first of 2 meetings this year at the potteries in Stoke and WCQR No5 brought a healthy grid and even healthier crowd to what is fast becoming a Shale favourite with F1 fans.

The first installment of a three meeting Easter weekend saw Brisca fans gather at Skegness Stadium. Plenty of sunshine greeted early arrivals but the sun was fighting a losing battle with a brutal westerly wind and as the evening progressed temperatures continued to get even lower testing the endurance of an above average crowd.

Lelystad held it’s opening meeting of the 2013 season with Wesley Schaap (77) winning the final from Danny Smidt (148) and Ron Kroonder (217).
