The off season is a really busy time for us as a team, during the season you’re just kind of patching up as you go. But the off season gives us, as a team, the opportunity to really strip the cars back, re-bumper and re-nerf them, along with being able to fix / change those awkward to reach places. As well as just being able to have a good look at everything and make any alterations to the basic car design.
It’s surprising just how fast the off season goes if you take out the BSCDA / AGM weekend, Christmas and New Year, a weekend or two out with Family / Girlfriend and the NEC Auto Show. It’s pretty much a race against time to get everything ready for the first of the Qualifying Round meetings and if you want to be a contender, you’ve got to not only make those meetings, but be race ready.
