Exclusive: Tom Harris 84 tar car in process of being signwritten (updated)

A sneaky little peek at the new paint job and ‘work in progress’ of the Tom Harris (84) tarmac car just before the Buxton Semi on Sunday 1st August. All Tom Harris photos thanks to Paul Tully. Alongside having a new paint job; the car is also in the process of being re-bumpered and nerfed, having the chassis painted and the signs completed. Roll on Sunday where the finished article will make it’s full track debut in the second 2010 semi-final.

It has been painted in chrome by Carbody (Banbury) ltd who sponsor all the Harris cars. Carbody’s work includes general maintenance, car body kits, cheap car body parts, car body care, car body work, dint repairs, and much more. Telephone on: 01295 273945 for further advice.

Help also comes from Chipex, the Stone Chip Repair Specialists who can provide the exact manufacturers paint formulation for 98% of modern cars on the road, for home repairs.

Tom’s new paint job is not entirely dissimilar to the McLaren F1 GP’s paint scheme either and has to be seen ‘in the flesh’ to be truely appreciated.
