The traditional Masters meeting took place the day after the World Final with Ivan Pritchard 434 winning the Meeting Final with Shaun Blakemore 221 and Paul Hines 259 rounding out the podium places.
For the second year in a row, Lee Fairhurst 217 qualified for the World Final grid as a Consolation Semi Finalist reserve when father Derek 218 was unable to take his place on the starting grid due to mechanical gremlins.

Lee Fairhurst (#217) has won the battle for the Gold Roof and taken the title of BriSCA 2012 World Champion creating history in the process by being the first driver ever to achieve the feat from dead last on the grid.
Coventry kicked off amid rumours of closure with a parade lap for Tom Harris 84 proudly displaying the Dutch Gold Cup he won at Venray. The Gold Cup was last won by a Brit back in 2006 when Frankie Wainman jnr 515 took the title.
