Lelystad’s Midland circuit was holding a meeting on the Sunday after the Golden Helmet meeting and provided an opportunity to attend a relaxed but entertaining Dutch tarmac meeting.

Emmen Speedway is in the North of Holland, quite close to the German border. In fact, as you near the track, the road signs show ‘Emmen’ and ‘Meppen’, where a German stock car track was planned a couple of years ago.

The Golden Helmet meeting at Emmen saw forty five F1 stock cars take to the track including six UK based BriSCA F1 stockcars.

As the curtains closed for possibly the final time on the third scunthorpe venue; the usual entertaining meeting took place, drawing forty one cars to the small shaleway for the first 2011 WCQR and Shoot out round number two.

Technical Illustrator Roy Scorer has produced the first of a series of profile illustrations of BriSCA F1 Stockcars available for purchase.

The traditional second half of the BriSCA F1 World Championship weekend saw around 50 cars arrive at Northampton International Raceway for the World Masters Cup.

The biggest meeting on the BriSCA F1 Stock car calendar for 2010, drew over one hundred cars and a massive crowd for what turned out to be a very entertaining meeting.

The three remaining 2010 Belle Vue fixtures have, due to an unforeseen legal technicality, needed to be transferred to Coventry.
