The 2009 World Final venue, Kings Lynn, had the honour of staging this season’s final WCQR and over 40 cars arrived to do battle.
Northampton reverted to its more traditional Sunday afternoon slot for it’s final F1 meeting at the venue before it stages the European Championships in July.
The sole visit of the F1 cars to Ipswich was greeted by a decent turnout and also some slightly different track conditions since the circus’ last visit there for the 2008 World Final.
F1 Stockcars caught up with BriSCA F2 superstar Gordon Moodie (f2 #79) at his home and asked him about his experience of racing F1’s in a guest car.
Andy Smith (391) flew from pole position, in a green to chequered flag race, to win this years prestigious World Final, taking the gold roof from his brother.
A new month can only mean one thing…. The BriSCA F1 circus returns Back to Coventry.
